Embec Care Ltd is currently looking to extend the services that it provides, and in doing so is looking to recruit caring and dynamic volunteers.

Time is a valuable commodity; however we are keen to recruit volunteers into our team.

We are looking for individuals that have some regular time each week that are willing to support members of the local community in a variety of ways

Do you have a skill that you would be willing to share with our service users??

Do you feel you want to do something to help another person??

Do you have the time to spare to come to our day care centre and help with the activities such as art and crafts, chair bound exercises, table top games and other external social activities?

Or can you help with preparation and serving of refreshments throughout the day

Or even be happy to act as volunteer driver and collect service users from their home and bring into the centre

Training

Training is very important to us as an organisation and volunteers will be asked to partake in training such as first aid, food hygiene, manual handling, safeguarding adults and others relevant to the post. You will be encouraged in developing skills and will have access to various training opportunities.

Support

Volunteers have access to support from senior staff members and will be encouraged to have regular supervisions and attend meetings
