Embec Day Care aims to promote the well being of individuals and help make life as fulfilling as possible, to enable people to lead a full and enjoyable life.
A personal assessment will help us to assess placement availability, and to deliver the best care required to support your independence and dignity.

What Embec Day Care Offers
We aim to promote well being, independence and help people to lead a fulfilling life. Our services are designed to promote independence and improve quality of life providing activities, help and support. inclusive of those who wish to become more socially active or have dementia related conditions.
We offer:
- A variety of stimulating social and leisure activities
- A cooked lunch will be provided. special dietry requirements will be taken into account
- Transport can be arranged at a small additional cost
- Refreshments throughout the day
- Activities throughout the day that will encourage group or individual interaction
- Accessibility to outings in the comunity such as the theatre
- Access to variour beauty and holistic therapists

Activities are aried to accommodate different intrests and hobbies.
Examples of activites include:
- Handicraft / hobbies
- Flower arranging
- fund raising events
- Reminiscence
- Exercise classes
- Falls prevention
- Service users' / Carers' group meetings
- Ageing well
We are always willing to accomodate anyone who wishes to try an activity, which not currently offered where practicable.

Your Rights as Service User
As part of our seice to you, we endeavour to:Call you by a name of your choice.
Provide an anti-discriminatory Service.
Respect your personal identity and beliefs.
Respect your privacy and encourage independence and choice.
The right to confidenyiality.
Give access to the formal complaint procedure.
Welcome and encourage your comments on the service provided including questionaires and meetins.
Provide an experieneced, trained, supervised and highly motivated team.
Be flexible in meeting your changing needs.
Inform and consult with you about any proposed changes within the centre.
Delivery of Care
Referals to day care can be made by simply calling the office on 0121 308 1700. A member of the team will liaise with you and agree a home vist whereby an assessment will be completed. The service uses requirements will be discussed and a plan of care will be devised which will include datails of days of attendance. We also cary out risk assessments to ensure the health and safety of service users and staff.
The plan of care will be reviewed and revised on a regular basis.
Cost
the cost is variable to the dyas that will attend. We will be more than pleased to give you a cost based on your individual needs.
